TRexAviation Circle Plane! - Perfect use for a spare 1806 motor!

This thing rocks! Dead simple build, and flies fantastic! It flies really slow, does super tight loops, and is super stable! Perfect as a backyard flier! While I can take credit for drawing up the plans, I can't take credit for the design. It was made by @TRexAviation and he did a fantastic job on it! Mine is the all white one and his is the one that looks nice lol View attachment 192201 View attachment 192202

HAHA what a coincidence, I just recieved some old 1806s today. Will give the circle a try!!!
Awesome! Just flew mine today and had a blast. If you have any questions let me know! @TRexAviation knocked the design out of the park! She's a fun little bird, and with a 3s 450 it has crazy amounts of vertical

Ok. Thanks. Alsp wondering if it could be somewhat of a trainer as I barely have flight experienced and already broke apart my mini speedster with too many crashes
It is relatively easy, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a trainer since its a circle lol. Its really strong though. It's a little quirky, but if you can handle a speedster you can fly this

Ok. Well then this it is. Also how do you tile in acrobat to get the border lines like in ft plans?

I think it's in the settings window right before you print. It's something like "cut marks."
thanks, but I just measured it out on my computer, and then transferred that onto the foam.

where does the wing go? no markings, and also no markings for the wervo. btw, does it take a mini power pod or firewall?

These are the wing marks.

And then the elevator servo has a cut out on top of the fuse, and rudder servo sits flat on the rudder. I'll go check to see if I have any pictures of how it was setup
