oh I'm sorry Jim I didn't mean to sound "snobby" in my answer to your question.Ouch. Not much wiggle room in that statement for a cheap hardhead like me then.
No its my fault Jim, I'm not very good writer and I should proof read before I hit the post button lol.No need to apologize, Pat. I was just stating that as a matter of fact. I trust your knowledge of the aircraft and I know my limitations. Larry Callahan always said a man's gotta know his limitations. My skin is a lot thicker than that too.
Your explanations are very clear and concise.
Thanks.

Anyone sell the tri copter as a complete kit? Something like add your own motors props and batteries etc.
So for how much can you get a tricopter? All you need?
Just roughly...
Kit: $89
Motors: $35 (for all three)
ESCs: $45 (for all three)
Flight Controller (KK Board): $30 or even less
Lipo: $20 or less
RX: $10 (HK spektrum clone)
Props: $9 (for all three)
Prop Savers: $12 (for all three)
Cables/Connectors/Etc: $15
Wood for arms: $4
Transmitter: up to you, but can be $60 or less
All in: $269 plus transmitter
Like with everything else in life, you can spend a lot more... GoPro, LRS, OSD, FPV Cam, Video TX, etc. etc.
Is there some computer programmation to do when we buy a KK board for a tricopter?
