Trying to get in to the hobby.

Hey, guys. I was introduced to the hobby mainly by FliteTest. I have been watching for about 2 years now. I would like to get going, but funds have been tight. I am in a robotics class and in about 7 weeks we are going to start making quadcopters(supply your own). So I thought I would love to make a gremlin. But I started looking at the cost and I was heart broken by the cost. I am hoping to get some help with a few part or whatever to just reduce the cost a bit. I was hoping to go fpv but I might have to settle with Los for a while, but only time will tell.
