Tubby B17 Landing Gear (and wire bender ?)

Hey Scott, we have flown with Modelaires in Dallas Center in the past but we have been flying here in Johnston recently. Did we meet at FliteFest last year? I met someone there with an Iowa State shirt on. For the Tubby, it has the stock landing gear wire right now. It is obviously not up to the task so I’m afraid to maiden it until we beef it up. Whatever the successful solution has been found is what I want to upgrade to. I would like to try your 3D part and the wire you have. We have a printer so maybe I just need a printer file? Thanks. I think I did meet you - it was crazy there and met so many awesome people!

I'm using 1/8 wire now, but it's still bending. I'm working on getting some slightly larger stuff tomorrow, and will try lengthening too. I'll be in touch with my upgrades!

I know Johnston is a ways from Cambridge, but would love to have you come fly at our AMA field there! We have another club member that also lives in Johnston.
