Turbo-Prop

Nice, but for the money I’d take a radial over a turbo prop. Their sound is incredible!

I'd probably go with a radial as well for my first luxury purchase. But if we're spending free money, why not both? The sophistication of the turbo-prop is just so immensely impressive.

I'm not sure if I want a radial...so many awesome choices. I can't decide!

* Moki 400 in a P-47

* Several Moki 400s in a giant B-17/24/29

* OS IL-300 in a Tiger Moth or similar

* Kolm 4-pot in a Mustang Seriously just listen it sounds orgasmic

* Stinger 609 in a Baja 5B buggy

* OS FF-320 Pegasus in a Cub or Cessna

'Bout the only two models I'd use turboprops on are an AC-130 and a Tu-95. And the latter only if I can make them just as earsplittingly loud as the real Bear's turboprops.

It's weird to hear a jet and see a prop at first. It is a good looking well flying plane tho.

A friend of mine has one set up in a 1/3 scale beaver, it is soo cool to here it start to spool up then the prop slowly starts to turn.
