Turbo Timber Micro SAFE activation?

So if you read the directions below the remote, it says to angle the sticks in and down, this makes sense, but further reading says "Toggle the gear switch 5x" so what on this remote constitutes "GEAR SWITCH"?

Channel 5 switch is the "gear switch". I can't see it in your photo but it should be on the top left of the transmitter.
