Turnigy 9X - OUCH!

After much deliberation, I decided to buy a replacement 9x and then attempt to repair this one at my leisure. The replacement arrived today. So now I get to do the same mods as I had to the first one. They include the programming port, the LCD back light, simulator resister mod, and moving the antenna from the first 9x to the Flysky module, as I ordered the replacement without a module.
I will then flash the new 9x with the latest OpenTX firmware.

This is going to be fun.

Close up work is about all I can do these days. They pushed back the cataract surgeries a couple of weeks, so I've got to keep busy somehow. I hope to be back in the air by mid October, and with much improved vision.

But that's what I love about this hobby, it is so much more than just flying.
