Had a blast flying my freshly built Tweaker 180 yesterday with a couple friends. Unfortunately we were kindly asked to leave, as it was private property. Such a shame, it was a great spot. Enjoy.

Nice!

The Tweaker is by far one of my favorite frames to fly!

Totally love mine. I've got the FPV Addiction version outfitted with Cobra 2204 2300kv motors and it is a blast to fly and super forgiving on crashes.

You got caught flying at my place of business......
(I caught a frame in your video with a sign in it)
You should have gone out in the back by the ball field - that's where I fly.
Less tree, but the guards won't bother you - probably.
It appears you were flying in sight of the security cameras.
Of course the guards are gonna shoe you away.
It is a pretty campus especially in the fall.

Thanks! Yea the tweaker is def my favorite quad atm as well. I think I am going to build the FPV Addiction version next with some rcx 2205 2633 kvs on the new hq 4x4x3's. Should be a little rocket. Trying to decide which escs I want to run on it.

Haha, small world. We're work neighbors, I'm an IT guy for Brookdale, right down the road.

It was the morning manager I believe that asked us to leave. One of the employees saw us there when they went out for lunch and said something. The manager was extremely pleasant about it, and I completely understand the reasoning, with liability and all. Just a shame because that really is a beautiful campus. I normally fly at Cross Farms park right down the road, but nowhere near as cool of a location.

Great shots btw.

Well you do look like a bunch of Hobos setting up camp...... (c8
We'll have to fly some afternoon (after work) once the seasons change again and we have some light!
I'm seriously thinking about building a Tweaker this winter. I'll have to pick your brain.

Best regards,

Hobo's with some strange head gear. Yea we'll have to get up sometime for sure. I ended up building 3 tweakers at the same time, 2 were for friends, so I'm extremely familiar with it. You definitely can't go wrong with it, between my Krieger 200, Blade 150, zmr250, and tweaker, the tweaker takes the cake.

I would think that if Phugger was flying with yall, you could tell anyone who asked you to leave to phug off:D

I was born and raised a few miles south of Trenton. The Garden State really is a pretty place. Nice flying btw, I've got a 4mm CF QAV180 bottom plate on order and cant wait to experience some 180 class shannanogins.

If only I'd known, could have used a name drop. Though that might have ended with a visit from the boys in blue, instead of a kind lady politely asking us to leave, and wishing us a happy Thanksgiving. ;)

You're gonna love the 180, they inspire so much confidence. I ran through 5 batteries there before I was asked to leave, some of the gaps I squeezed it through were silly. At some point I'll stop being lazy and edit up a proper video.

A few comments -
First - PHugger, is not pronounced phonetically......
Second - Trenton is pronounced "Tren uh"
Third - The Garden State aka The Armpit of America

It's actually been good to grow up and live here, but it's too expensive to retire here.

I actually just switched to the HQ 4x4x3's last night and flew it, and it's pretty ballistic for a 180 quad.

I'm still running a set of DYS BL20a ESC's (on BLHELI of course). I bought an extra set of FVT Little Bees to replace the DYS when they eventually burn out, but they seem to be going strong still. The brilliant part about the FPV Addiction with the 2204 size motors is that they aren't even stressed spinning 4" props.

So it's pronounced "Pee hugger", much better ;)

Amen, we sold our tiny 3bed 1bath ranch and bought a 4bed 2.5bath house three times larger for less money down here.

Flat4, what fpv cam are you running. Im running a Fatshark 600tvl now and feel the fov is way to narrow to rip balls thru the trees like you do. I have a lumenier 650tvl wdr on order that i hope will give me alittle courage to rip tight spaces.

Yea I really can't wait to try to fpv addiction version. This thing already gets going pretty good on the 1806's, so those higher kv 2205's should get it closer to 5" prop speeds. Excited to see how it turns out. My buddy actually texted me last night with the price for everything needed to build two. I think he is going to grab everything as a Christmas gift.

It sometimes pays that I do all his building, tuning, and troubleshooting.

I run the HS1177 with the 2.8mm lens, which is basically the smaller form factor pz0420. I find anything wider and the distortion and depth perception gets to be too much to confidently fly through.

Link to camera. http://www.surveilzone.com/DC5V-plastic-case-mini-sony-super-had-ccd-600tvl-super-camera-2.8mm-lens-for-fpv

Here's a clip from the only time I remembered to start the DVR that day. Between the dvr and youtube's compression the quality does take a hit, it is quite a bit nicer looking in the goggles.

I'm also running about 35 degrees of camera tilt.

Got a chance to run through a couple packs this morning on the HQ 4x4x3's, man what a difference. Looking at the numbers I new they'd be better, but didn't expect this. Anyways, here's my flight from the second pack of day. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!!
