If you slide the CG forward it will handle wind much better,

Yeah, when I made the slot for the battery I put it just a tiny bit forward. I didn’t move it too far though, because I didn’t want too much stability.

Me personally never slot the fuselage I use velcro on one side of the fuselage, after having to do a few repairs it gives me flexibility. NOT that that ever happens.
