I think putting together the time-lapse of the build was more difficult than the build itself. Here it is:

Just finished watching the build video. I really need to get one of those helping hands. I'm just using a cheap one I got from Harbor Freight at the moment.

My OCD kicked in when I saw you ran the ESC wires on the right in front of the arm, and the wires on the left behind the arm. :black_eyed: I have a sickness.

Yeah, I had been using one from Harbor Freight for a while. Then I saw this one on SparkFun.

I have the red and white wire on one side of each arm and the black wire on the other.

Your not alone Twitch. All my esc zip ties have to match at the closure end too (front ties closure at back of arm and visa-versa)! ;)

Symmetry. :applause:

Wow that video was cool! Needs music, tho. I'm thinking 'Flight of the Bumble Bee' or something by The Chipmunks. :)

Does she fly??

Yeah, I considered putting in some music, but then I kind of didn't want to fool with it.

I haven't maidened it yet. I'm waiting for the winter weather to pass, but I got about 4 more inches of snow this weekend. It might be a little while before I actually get to do some flying.

when i watch youtube videos with out sound. or ones id rather wtach the footage not hear the person talk. i generally do a search for ambient music.. it works real well and relaxing.

C0d3M0nk3y have you had any decent weather to get this thing up in the air? looking forward to seeing some video! I ordered a mobius, but haven't really messed with it enough to figure out how to get decent video out of it yet.

It looks to be flying pretty good, and has a nice bit of power.

Also, what's that white stuff on the ground behind the fence?

That's dead snow... I don't think they have snow on planet florida though...

Trying to watch the video but probably will have to wait till I get home... my dad's internet sucks

Great flight and video C0d3M0nk3y! I'm still keeping mine nose out while I'm in grandma mode treating it like a brand new car made of glass, but hopefully I'll start flying like a normal person soon enough. It may sound silly, but I'm jealous of those nice clean circles and navigating around that tree =)

It's okay to represent Team Nana. We've all been there. :)

That's not silly at all. Keep practicing, and soon enough turns become second nature.

im a fan of ben heck. he even built a quad. anyhow, i thought this video was interesting on 3d printing which unfortunately is rather greek to me as i do not own one or have even seen one in person.

looks fun tho.. and all the 3d printed multirotors poping up.

i give you the nerd of nerds ben heck. heh, im not a gamer ( i did build a full size mame arcade tho a few years back. couple of snap shots during the build. even takes .25 i did use the wrong guage of wire to wire up the control panel.. way to thick of gauge.. but i did not know any better. laughs.

here is a shot of the rats nest before i clean it up some.. anyhow i ended up redoing the whole wire job with lighter guage after this, a year later.. it bugged me knowing i built to last a nuke.. now it will just take a A bomb. :p anyhow mame arcades are a fun project if you guys ever get the urge to play some old school arcade games. and not to expensive to build. i think i spent 600.00 total not co0unting the PC to run it.

mame first player and left player.JPG mame arcade.JPG ) or i would drool over his console game mods. he makes some cool portable gaming machines.
