Twotter vs guinea pig

Hey guys! I arrived at my first ever flitefest today, and am wanting to buy my first twin engine plane from the ft store. Its between the guinea pig and twin otter. I want to get whichever is more aerobatic, and i couldnt find much info comparing them. I also need to fit them into my car, so if anyone knows the length of the twin otter that would be very helpful (i think the guinea pig is 1.1m long). Thanks!

I'm partial to the guinea pig, but I've never built the twin otter. My thoughts are the twin otter will be a bit faster and more aerobatic, and probably won't slow down as well. I love the big guinea pig - it's a real floater but crank up the throws and put 4s in it and it'll liven right up!

Thanks! I saw a lot of guinea pigs at flitefest. I'm going to check the specs of the otter at the store and see which one is better for me

On the otter build, there are 4 leftover paint sticks that I didn't think I saw get used in the vid. Do they go to something or no?

They're part of a short kit that is added to some SBK's. The paint sticks are not needed for every build. The Twin Otter doesn't use them.

Hey guys how do you connect the receiver to the aura? I have this little cable that came with my r88 that I think connects the gyro to the RX but idk which end goes in the RX and which goes in the aura.

To connect to a serial receiver you need a cable with two of the black ends on it. One will plug into your receiver port and the other will plug into port B on the aura. If you’re using a dsmx satellite reciever it’ll plug into one of the white ports on top of the aura.
