Unmarked esc

Hi all,

Is there any way to tell how many amps an unmarked esc can handle? It's a pretty big puppy, so I'm thinking at least 60a.

That’s a hobbyking red brick esc. I’m not sure how many amps since I have never seen one in person, but a google search could help a bit.

Actually, there are multiple sizes, from 50 to 200 amps, but the 50 amp one has different color wires, so yours should be 70 amps or more. I would wait for some other people to answer though.

I had an ESC identical to yours at one time, it was 50 or 60A if I recall.

possible find out by weight, and size. Red Bricks eg at aliexpress have sizes and grams weight given.
I have a few.. great ESC´s , but mines hard to check because placement in rc builds.

Thanks, guys. Looked up dimensions and weight and pretty sure it's a 70. Could even be an 80. Either way, great ideas! Thanks again.
