9in props for 4s. And we use Rust-Oleum for paint, but others would work too.

Hi everyone, I'm planning to build a tiltrotor VTOL version of the A-10 (70% scaled version from The Hangar). Would the A-10 be a good platform for a VTOL conversion, especially considering the space needed to mount a Speedybee F405 Wing and how the whole setup might affect CG balancing?

I think it’s work, a single vertical motor in the tail, and two tilting ones in the stock position. I’ve never done anything like that before though, but it sounds cool!

The military would suddenly be obsessed with replicating it fullscale if someone creates an EDF VTOL A-10

the vtol version of a10 , i tried the 70% version , but it did not turned out the way i wanted it to , so then i built the full scale version of a10

I dub the "Chopper Popper" paint job incoming. Had this this on the bench for a while, life just happened. Finally finished and maiden done, she flies great. Currently running 8 x 4 x 3 Props on 4s, on the original C-Power pack with 35amp ESCs, will be trying 9x4.5x2 to see if it flies any better, but I love the sound the 3 blades are making.

Yes, otherwise the BEC’s will fight each other, and you’ll lose control of the servos.

Funny, I have never had a problem with that.....

Will do! 👍 Its scaled down to 56% and I am running dual 64mm EDF's.
