Description:
This is the FT SeaAngel. The Sea Angel is a unique aircraft modeled after Porco Rosso’s plane from the 1992 Hayao Miyazaki anime film made by Studio Ghibli as well as the 1925 racing plane, the Italian Macchi M33. It's sure to be a head-turner wherever you fly it.

The SeaAngel is a scale flyer that can be can be flown 3-channel or 4-channel with optional ailerons. The build process is challenging, yet rewarding so if you are new to building this might not be the plane to start with. For a top-mounted motor design, the plane balances well. It is a good first seaplane and can help you learn to correct for torque when increasing throttle.

The SeaAngel is sure to be a conversation starter and a great way to make memories with friends and family.

This plane was designed as a collaboration between Josh Bixler, Andres Lu, and Jeremy Andrew Davis.

Dan, when are you planning to release the plans? Pretty excited for this one. Hoping it will be a good snow plane for the winter here in Michigan.

As soon as possible. After watching some of the build video, I have some editing to do with paper removal, cavities and reference lines, etc. Also need to get all the parts labeled. Looking at probably 4-6 hours of work to complete yet. Should be done in the next day or two depending on how much free time I can find to get it done.

I made really good progress with the plans tonight while watching the Brewers and Packers win some sports. (y)

I'm hoping to get the free build plans posted for all of you no later than Wednesday night. Apologies for the delay, but this design was just way too detailed to guess at all the paper removal and small nuances. I'd rather they were right when you get them vs. rushed and have people have a bad build experience. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding.
