looking for a new radio, and have set my sights on a frsky x20. I looked on ebay and heres an x20s i would like to make an offer on:
X20s and IRX4 used
Seems a little overpriced tho. I was thinking 350. Would that be good?
Seems overpriced compared to these 2:
X20hd with upkit used
X20rs with irx4 and tons of rx’s used
Have you considered going with Express LRS? It is an open source protocol so it has wide range of receivers so there are some very cheap options out there! And to boot its the fastest, best long range, low latency protocol out there! Some good options are the Radiomaster TX16, Radiomaster TX12, and the Jumper T12MAX

Omg. To be honest, i have been flooded with elrs recommendations, just let me be free from the demons 😭

I just like the design of the frskys. Idk. If i get one, im definently getting a 4in1 module and an elrs module to work with my whoops and quadcopters. Plus with a 4in1 module there are still cheap rx options like flysky and radiomaster

Do some research before assuming an ELRS module will fully work with a modern FrSky radio. They have in the past made it so 3rd party modules are crippled. That is one of the reasons quite a few people quit using their products.

I would recommend an x18. I love mine, and I don't really see a need for the x20, I will never use that many switches, or the larger screen, etc. just my opinion though. I really like my x18 original.

i like buying used, i never really got any bad vibes buying used, and x18s dont really appear all that often used. Plus the x20 has a bigger screen ehich i like.
Big screens are cool. Great for easy adjustments, screen captures, etc.
OK to look at occasionally while flying. For me, call-outs are easier than looking.
I can count all the times I've needed to look at it while flying on one hand. ;)

Only disadvantage for used is that it has a worn look sometimes. Advantages: probably crash tested successfully and it's probably past the burn in failure point we had at Huge Aircrash company
