I went to High School about 40 miles from the Alabama, and somehow never visited her. I rectified that yesterday.

The museum has a nice little AC collection as well:

I particularly like the business end of this ground attack version of the B-25.

I don't know if they've moved it. But there used to be a little RC field behind the museum grounds.

If you're "local" and not just passing through the following may be of interest.

The local club is holding a Toys for Tots fly in on December 9th. And a bit east the Pensacola club is hosting one this Saturday at their field in Jay FL. (I'm thinking about attending that one.)

Thats a great idea. Motorcycle clubs up north always do Toys for Tots runs.

Go poke Josh with a stick n tell him to host a Toys for Tots week end at Edgewater. Its a worthy cause no matter what town you are in. Making it RC flight related would be even better.
