Hi there,

i have been bussy the last 2 weeks and created something new in my mancave.

It's a V-Tail quad made out of old quad motors and props and also arms that where
from a project of walter (my mancave co owner).

I used 40° angles on the rear and 60° opening between them.

here some pictures:

v-quad1.JPG

folded back for transport
v-quad2.JPG

OK, camera battery is empty.... i will post more later

one thing i already learnd is to use locknuts!! i lost one nut in flight and one arm folded halve way back.
Luckily nothing serious happend.

hardware and weight info next time

greatings from Vienna

Another nice frame you've got there! She looks a bit heavy -- what's your AUW?

You might also consider adding some hooks and rubber bands -- even if the bolts don't loosen, the frinction fit on the arms will give after a while. a stratigically placed band will make that problem all go away.

Looking forward to seeing her in the air!

I have already a video of it in the air. Again shot by my girlfriend which is excited about everybody viewing it! (that motivates hear to film it :) )
I need to improve all of the filming stuff but again i will use what i have of footage and show it.

beste Grüße, Aquanot
