Versa Wing Electronics Compatible?

Hi all!
I built my versa wing a couple of days ago but needed to make an extended battery tray to balance it out since I will not be putting a camera on it. I am using the ft firewall to which I mounted my turnigy 2200kv (2826)motor. It is using a 3 cell 2200 mah lipo and a turnigy 45 amp speed control. I know the speed control is too big but will this be too quick on a 7x6 prop apc? I have not maidened it yet.

Without having the full specs on all the components, it's hard to know for sure, but I think that setup will only pull around 15A. More experienced builders will no doubt give you a better answer.

There are a number of (free) web-based power system calculators available. they can be a little daunting to use, but hang in there and you'll figure them out!

Btw, a "too big" ESC shouldn't cause any problems as long as it matches the number of cells in your batt.
