VTOL pod idea

Ok got an idea on how to make some motor pods like the osprey has. I have an idea on how to make a motor pod move like that but I'm not sure if the parts can handle it. Could a servo with stand the force of being mounted directly to a motor pod or should I design something like chad did for the Tri copters rear motor when the servo is connected by a linkage?

If the motor pod pivot is exactly on the pods CofG and the prop thrust line goes exactly through its CofG then very little torque is required to move it but if you are suggesting the motor pod be mounted directly on the servo arm then I doubt it is mechanically strong or rigid enough to carry the load.

That's what I was thinking as well. So build a mount for the pod, and mount the servo below it and just have it connected by a small linkage
