VX-30 (Another oddball design)

Built the VX-30 ,flys awesome! Scaled it up and built a mega VX. Put on gear as it is not for one handed launch. Flys great and floats in better than some sailplanes. Thanks for a great design!.

Take a look at the Thoth in the link in my signature. I’m currently doing more 3D printing but have been dabbling on a FT viggen converted to full wing - more Avanti looking and a Shinden.

Here they are not so pretty but the mostly black one flies well, the other one is still a work in progress. It has a 64mm EDF.

Thanks, They look good a a distance. So far I feel like I need a little more control surface throw or possibly area, also I am going to need some gear on the EDF. Last I think I'm going to lose a little more vertical surface its just a bit too stable for my style, I already cut back the outriggers by about 1/3rd. As is it flies very well I just want a bit more speed and snappy maneuvering. This is such a cool design to tinker with.

Was thinking about just doing winglets on the tips on a future build but was concerned about maybe wing or fuselage flexing.
