Long shot but thought I would try it out. I am looking for cheap low end radios, and various other components. I am planning to order two speed build kits along the lines of the old fogey for two of my nephews. What I would like to find is something along the lines of the hk rx/tx sets that someone has moved on from instead of ordering new. to be honest, this is only because I am doing this behind their back and do not know if they will even follow through with it. If by chance they do they can pass on the systems to the next kids.
I had originally planned to bring a couple setups this spring and let them build their own kit. sadly I am not going to be able to go.there seems to be more than enough places and good people in the area to mentor them, so I'll have to do this from afar.
