Nice job. Looking good so far. Going to Flite Fest at an Air Force base will do that. We are in the same process. Just finished a P-40, B-17, and B-25. Have a P-38, F-16, and F-18 left. I have a question about the P-40 Warhawk paint. I see a lot of these with ‘Shark Teeth’ in the front and want to do that. What is an easy way to do that and it looks good? Thanks and keep up the good work.

I once added teeth to an edge 540, all I did is print them off, then tape em on 🤣

Ok, it’s really close. I shot the paint. Still need to fix the canopy and attach these homemade decals. And I have to do a spinner. Other than that, this thing is ready to go.

I know the eye is not in the right place. It is just sitting there for the photo. I’ll move it down in front of the painted exhaust. ha

Heading out for maiden now. Started this build Tuesday. Glad I had that big spinner for it. Turned out good.

Thank you. It flies great too. Just home from the maiden and no issues. The red spinner is visible from far away and really finishes the look. Cheers.

Used CA glue for the printed paper decals onto the paint and worked fine.

I didn't post anything for a while because I got cut at my foot from a piece of glass while I was in a lake with some friends, I am recovering, can't step on my left foot but I manage to move around the house with my chair and crutches.
Pain aside, I have built 2 Ft edge 540's and I am now painting one of them as a red bull scheme (for now it's just a shell with no electronics but soon I'll install them😉)

I have add an air intake and exhaust, but Ai am not sure if to do 2 exhaust heads like in the picture, or just a larger one
I made them by cutting a rectangle and shaping it in to a cylinder, and then cutting a bit of an angle on one end
That's all for now and I'll keep you guys updated😁😁

next on my red bull list, is the ft simple cub (same paint scheme as the red bull carbon cub that they landed on a heli pad ), then the ft commuter (red bull did a pilot swap mid-dive) I have built those planes before, painted only once the commuter as a red bull scheme, and never painted the ft cub😅

Beautiful build! That Red Bull scheme turned out amazing, and you’re right - the exhaust really completes the look!
