We cant bind out controller to the Plane

Hello all
My 9 year old son (and me) cant for the life of us figure out how to bind the plane to the controller. WE have watched like every video possible and still are lost. We need some help. The videos move to fast, the screens that are shown do not match to what we have on our controller screen and we Parts are not labeled (in my view ) well. looking for any advise or is there any group out there that helps people in person?

In person help is the best. Go to an AMA field, if you have one near by.
