A whales flipper is too small for it; it works because of the effects of the "tubercles" the lumps on the front of the fin and allowing a greater angle of attack or later stall.
This effect does translate to wings, increasing all aspects of wings, but i don't know if it scales.
So Flite Test, how 'bout finding out if it does scale?
