Hi! I have a 980kv motor and some 2s battery's. I've been scouring the flight testfoam builds and can't seem to figure out which ones will work with what I have. So is there any planes you guys know of that will will fly with this lower power motor? (I'm trying to get into the air while I wait for my 1300kv motor to come in the mail) thanks!

Hard to say if that is a lower power motor or not, the kv rating is only a small piece of the puzzle. Armature size plays a much bigger part... A 2204 988kv would be pretty weak, but a 3614 would be pretty powerful, relatively speaking.

Yes, so the armature is 22mm in diameter and 12mm tall. Also shown on that product page are the thrust specs with different props and batteries, should help you determine what you can do with it.
You'll want something with lots of wing area that has room for a bigger prop since you only have 2s batteries.
