It was much less than 10ft of the ground, more like 1-2ft, but when it stalled it was about 10 ft off the ground.
Your definition of low is what I call an inverted tail touch.
And I have learned not to pull on the stick while inverted

You may have to do rethink your "not pull on the stick while inverted" while flying this one. You need to figure out while you are flying, Are you up side down or regular to prevent the ground gods from getting you? . This one is designed to takeoff inverted as well as regular.
I named mine "The OtherUp"

Mine are tending to black bottoms, high vis fluorescent on top but I have one where thats backwards which for unknown reasons doesn't crash inverted. Might be because if flys on trim settings. Strained through fences........ different story but it does eat props.

Know @L Edge does odd stuff, have you ever tail sat landings out of a hover?

Did mine (tail sat) using a Sidewinder missile. Made it simple by using 2 motors/2 props , one doing counter clockwise to cut the rotation just like a a Kaman heli.

That is why I build my own rather than buying complete kits, PNP, etc.

Individual parts are cheap. Complete kits are a major purchase. LOL 😆

Crashed the OctoPi/OctoPrint/OctoDash server "Touch" screen for my enclosed printer. >sigh<

It was an old image and the OS would not update, but it was working. >sigh<

Didn't have much data on it so figured, I'll just re-install from scratch....

The bad move was not keeping the SD card and using a different one until it came up working. I can not for the life of me get the "touch" working on the 5" BTT TFT with OctoDash. Nothing to go back to since I overwrote the SD card with the latest image.

Ah well, everything works but the touch on the screen. Maybe I'll figure it out at a later date. I'll just hook the PI up without a screen for now and figure it out at a later date.

Baby Ape II... I accidentally shot up into a powerline and smacked a train rail on the way down. Knocked out a motor, the vtx antenna and the battery.
