What did you crash today?

No, But it did take a week or so and a number of ideas to get it down. It was up there over 40 Feet!
The final recovery attempt was taking Four 10 foot sections of conduit, connecting them together, and giving it a few pokes. I think I spent more on the conduit than I did on the plane.
i laughed the second i saw the tree. i got a hold of a carbon extendable pole from a window cleaner, 6 foot extender to 65 ft, saved many planes with it.

bow and arrow with a 3/16 rope on the back of arrow, shoot up over branch, let the arrow get caught or fall…shake the ever living holy crap outa branch till it gives you the plane back 😂 that work also 😂

"Maidened" the F4 Phantom II today. Had no elevator authority (nose heavy? horizontal stabilizer incorrect?) and she rolled across our muddy field at a high rate of speed. Wah-wahh... Build, fly, crash, repeat.

Ah man, sorry. But on the plus side aren't you glad it's not a balsa model that you'd spent 9 months on.

So I figured out what happened, I have to have it on high rates with my gyro on and I had it on low rates. so when I took off I couldn't clear the trees so I flipped it to manual mode, missed the tree (whew!) panicked and crashed! (I would rather have it crash then stuck in a tree! I have had enough airplanes in trees this year!) Here's the video (sorry if its not that great.)

Had a little accident today! Been flying without a gyro and getting pretty good! But I tried doing a knife edge a little too close to the ground on high rates (like really high rates!) and hit a little hard. Thankfully it will be a pretty easy fix!
