What did you crash today?

Had a little accident today! Been flying without a gyro and getting pretty good! But I tried doing a knife edge a little too close to the ground on high rates (like really high rates!) and hit a little hard. Thankfully it will be a pretty easy fix!

If you want to do knife edges, take a plane without any dihedral in the wing. And do it 3 crash heights. The only high rate you need is the rudder(especially at low speed) to control it in the wind.

Another plane that will improve your flying skills is a bipe. That where you learn to integrate the rudder, throttle with the right hand movements. Notice that not many pilots have them.

I've never built or flow the Simple Scout, but, I can say that it'll be a lot easier to fly than the Mini Mustang, And probably comparable to the Versa Wing, Like I once said, I flew this as my second plane without too many issues.
That's good! I accidentally forgot to put my gyro in my goblin before I glued the bottom on so I guess I am flying it without a gyro!

It was really easy to fly!.....Until I lost sense of direction below tree level and failed to see my direction before I sailed smack right into some 45 - 60ft maple trees.....If you know anything about maple trees they are very very dense!
