Somehow managed to loose the canopy between the crash and now. Found a perfect fit 3D print replacement.

Did something like that with my versa wing years ago. Apparently the center section had gotten soft; I was doing a high speed pass, the wing began to flex, bobbled a little in pitch, and then pulled straight up and folded in half. It was my first time flying at a club and a number of people were there watching.

The Weddell Williams 44 loves speed and wide sweeping turns. If you're slow, less than 1 mistake high and try a tight turn this is what happens. At least it ended up on it's wheels.
Since it hit vertically all the debris was in one spot. Ah well, I needed to build V3 anyway.

Yeah, not so much a speed fan as a fan of golden age planes. This one and the QED just happen to be speedy. The Simple Staggerwing (shameless plug, can be found in Resources) on the other hand can do slow and fast pretty well and it's a joy to fly!

Ah Bummer, but looks like the same problem that the FT one had, I have;t had one that the nose didn’t;t come off.😂
