This 🤬 thing was officially retired today after another frustrating "flying" session.

Flying is a relative term. It's more of a "how long can one keep the stink'n thing outta the dirt" than controlled flight. Very, very, touchy about COG, and I don't know what it's issue was today. Not worth the effort.

Foamboard is cheap. My nerves are not, lol 😆.

Flying is a relative term. It's more of a "how long can one keep the stink'n thing outta the dirt" than controlled flight. Very, very, touchy about COG, and I don't know what it's issue was today. Not worth the effort.

There is not a thing wrong with "failed experments" as long as you took notes, either paper or mental, and added what went wrong and right to your knowledgebase.

This looks like a good place to ask this: has anyone used foam board to make more traditional ribs, formers, and longerons' and then covered with film? Or is it too soft to do that way? I probably need to experment but if someone knows you might save me some heart ache.
