What Did You Fly Today

Nothing. I just need to finish my two model projects made of foam boards I bought from Walmart store. First model is Kendin Yap’s video on the internet and a race wing I designed my self. Then I’ll buy the materials and try it out. I need to paint it then add all the other RC stuffs. It weighs under two ibs. Now. 3S LiPo battery, 1000 mah, ESC 30 A Brushless motor and the RC with receiver and a servo. And a propeller to go with the brushless motor. Two wheels up front with the center of gravity and a trailing edge. I hope it flies.

If I had one 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I mostly just need a cameraman, so I can use my (cheap, but works pretty good) camcorder.
Maybe have a sibling hold the camera for you or if your an only child maybe buy something like this....will track your plane for you and its only 570 dollars (very cheap) 😂

If they can keep track a car going 200 mph im pretty sure they can keep track of a 160 mph foamboard speedwing 😁
I think when they track cars like that, they either pre program that for the race or they hook it up to someones phone and have them point their phone at the car. (It will move the gimbals the same way they point their phone) Though I am no expert by any means😂😂

Same here ! Saw something similar to the one in the photo above and it seemed to be tracking its object independently.......maybe It was specifically programmed before hand to track that object but not sure....
IDK, I have been studying photography and videography a good amount and it has seemed like these are for use for about up to 50mph., but the object has to have a good contract to the background.

Dont know but would be cool to get my hands on one and try it out for myself ! Got into airplanes cause I used to live infront of an airport where there was also a military base. Used to take a lot of pictures or airliners and f15s and other jets ! Than later on got a Canon PowerShot SX420 IS point and shoot to get better photos of the planes...

Nice! My brother bought a Canon SX500IS a few years ago, and its served him well! Though this year we splurged and bought a Sony ZVe10, and that is NICE! (It cost a heap, but if as I hope I can get into photography it should pay for its self, and meanwhile I have an awesome camera for videoing planes!👍😁)
