What happened to my control rod adjustments?

I'm a total noob. I bought a FT Explorer a few years ago an the plane sat for a season and I just got it out again to fly this afternoon.

I expected everything to be as I left it, but lo and behold, the rudder control rod adjustment seems to be totally off. When I set my TX sub-trim all the way left the rudder is dead center. What could have happened? It has been sitting peacefully in the rafters of my garage. Do I need to take apart the tail and re-adjust the control rod?

Thanks in advance!

...What could have happened?....Do I need to...re-adjust the control rod?...
Hard to say what happened. It is not uncommon for planes to go out of trim. I trimming my planes about every other flight.
Sounds like you need to adjust the control rod.

Would it be easier to get to the servo and make adjustments there, which ever you do make sure to recenter your transmitter trim before.
