What is your build Soundtrack?

When I'm building, if I'm not listening to General Aviation Classes, DND vids like critical Role, I'm listening to Killer Inspiring music
Please Keep it to names links to Youtube plylists, or vids. Thanks!

Some of the music is:

I usually play a flite test vid or something while building, but I recently discovered that mike patey’s videos work well to keep me motivated while doing the boring or tedious parts of a build. If I listen to music during a build I would listen to my homework soundtrack (what I listen to when doing homework). It consists of a wide assortment of songs, like eye of the tiger, hooked on a feeling, straight outta compton, and a lot more.

I almost exclusively watch YouTube videos when building. This Old Tony, Flite Test, Tested, Cars and Cameras, Macro Machines, VINwiki, Mike Patey, etc etc. Oh, and Critical Role when they were still recording it.
Hah, TOT, Cars and Cameras...I've been known to put Vice Grip Garage, Junkyard Digs, Mustie1, 805RoadKing, AvE on. Also Big Clive.

Big Clive's a national treasure too. Only channel on YT I can think of which has an explosion containment pie dish. Also he's dismantled Li-Ion 18650s, NiMh AAs, and flatpack LiPO cells on videos before.
I guess I'm one of the only ones who follows along with the build videos... :ROFLMAO:
Kinda hard when I'm working off-script like I am on my Simple Scout. I've built enough FT planes to be able to figure it out without the vid and then I'm also shoving a 4-cycle onto it rather than a B-pack, so the build video's not a necessity for me. And often times I'm working on something there isn't a vid for, like my 4*20 kit or my 1/2a Kaos kit.

If I want music, it's gonna sound weird, but lately I've been listening to orchestral movie soundtracks.

Here's just a few examples:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHalXjs0cDA

(and as an FYI, most of these are composed by John Williams - the only two above that are not are the BTTF theme, which was done by Alan Silvestri, and the Colonel Bogey March, done by Mitch Miller)

I dunno, I love this stuff, and it gets me relaxed a bit, and inspired to build.

Throw in some Rage Against The Machine and you have an awesome mix to workout. That is WAY too much energy for me to work on fine details. LOL Maybe some Clapton, Tom Petty, Spyrogyra, or other smoother grooves.

Cheers!

Yeah, when heavily modding a plane I don’t watch the build vid. When it’s a super simple plane o don’t either, but for a more complex build like the edge or x-29 I’ll follow along since there are special ways of building to make the build go cleaner and more precise that they go over in the build video.

You’re not alone - I love orchestral music too!

Yeah I know what you mean, pink Floyd's Meddle album sees a mood to focus but drift too.

Wake up! Time to fly!
Usually I stream something from Amazon or throw in a bluray. I get lost in what I am doing and it all washes out as background noise like a fan when you sleep. I end up playing the same movie 3 or 4 times in the course of a quad build unless Im in the watching super glue / paint dry phase.

The 80's metal like Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Motley Crue and Judas Priest and such is played daily here under normal conditions. I was just adjusting settings on my guitar processor this afternoon for Ozzy Osbournes "Bark at the Moon" Hopefully I can manage a one take run where the playing, the tone reproduction and recording align and get it on video soon. I wanna edit a flight video with the new 3 inch quad using it while the moon is out during the day.

I could have [in no particular order as I don't know which is most likely] silence, some educational video on, various 'lets play' recordings of table top miniature games or PnPRPGs, or my 'mix' on pandora.

Dang @sprzout more soundtracks...

I tend towards the classics.

But I love me some soundtracks:

Best part of ME Andromeda was the music.

Best production of Dune EVER!

Build, fly, crash, repeat with your own space faring civilization. This is what I listen to when I play KSP.

Homeworld because Barber and the Adagio for Strings is haunting.

And when I'm wanting to fly angry (can't really build to this one) or play Skyrim VR...

Mind that last one. You'll end up wanting to pillage the XVII and XIX legions and eat raw meat with a tip of a dagger. :)
