I got the aforementioned motor in a box of random parts, from the stash of a modeler who had passed away. This is a pretty beefy motor, capable of turning a 12" - 13" prop without a gearbox, running 3S batteries through a 40A ESC.
Does Flite Test have plans or a Speed Build Kit for a single-engine plane that could use this large of motor?
It's discontinued in favor of a newer version, but the specs are still online:
