What were some of the interesting planes of FF 2025 Fest?

Saw some videos of FF25 fest and what where some of the interesting and unique planes that were different for those who went to it?
Especially Interested if there were many EDF's and what was the show stopper for this year?
And as usually, did Peter S show up?

Peter did not show up, and I built a yield sign that did not fly, but was a target in combat, there were many interesting big builds, like a huge rv12, etc

I think the hot wire foam factory’s pterodactyl (I think that’s what they called it) was pretty cool. Great presence in the air!

No telling how many planes were destroyed when the build tents came down.

I was lucky enough not to have any damage to my planes. They had not been unpacked yet. If my planes had been out, they certainly would have been damaged or destroyed.

I know the foam factory's main machine was damaged when the tent came down. The tent bent a massive aluminum extrusion.

Like the Puffs box, reminds me of one of the early aviators saying that “if someone figured out how to put an engine on a barn door, I’ll fly it”

Been there, done that. Took a sheet of blue foam, added elevons and mounted 2 motor/props in front and flew it. No vertical stabs.

The only EDF I saw fly was the F-105 Thunderchief that someone was posting about right after FF. I’m sure there were more though, I think I saw a few on tables

There was a pretty large Avro Lancaster that was flying in the parades and later in combat! I heard the builder had come all the way from the UK but I never got to meet them
