What would you like to see as the new FT scratch build aircraft.

It would be nice if we see some axis planes like the bf 109 ( which would be an easy build ) or the beautifull fw 190 dora (or anton ) , or some japaneese warplanes like the zero or the N1K1 ja or the ki 84 . As for allied planes , I would love to see the powerfull Hawker tempest ( considered by many as the best low altitude allied fighter of the war ) or the yak 9 ( which would be an easy build also ) .

When I fall off a normal motorcycle, I expect to get some road rash. If you fall off a quad-bike or octo-bike the first responders will call the local sausage making company to help with the clean up.

Maybe the technology behind those "bladeless fans" will become miniaturized to the point where we can use them as turbine engines :D I've never looked into those fans, but I've often wondered if they had anything to do with the technology that people were using to build "antigravity lifters" which were basically just ion engines. If that's what those fans are, then I don't think we'll have batteries capable of producing that kind of power for the next 100 years or so.

Are you referring to this?

These just work by the venturi effect, there's a regular fan in the base aimed up and it pushes air through the small slot on the inside of the ring to pull the ambient air with it.

Here's a beauty that would make a great FT scratch build; the f94 Starfire! A beautiful early cold war jet. It should be a version like this one, WITHOUT the cool looking but useless and draggy wing tip fuel tanks(which would serve no purpose on an electric RC jet).

I want to see Don Karnage's plane next. Someone made it for the challenge and it looked great! I would absolutely love to see that in kit form with a build video. And then I really want to see it in the air, chasing the Sea Duck.

How about some of the wackier planes in Fallout? VB-01 would be a nice tiltrotor/bicopter built, and those wacky semi-flying-wing V-tail jets would be fun EDFs. So would the big flying wing passenger liners we see wrecked around the Commonwealth Wasteland circa FO4, for that matter.

What I would like to see is a biplane in the 1100mm scale size. I built the mini SE5 and while it was a fun build (even applied the graphics), a SPAD, Nieuport 17 or Sopwith Camel would be a great addition to the FT collection.

Fokker D VII. It was the best flying WW I aircraft and the several times I've flown D Vii models, they've flown well too. It should be easy to make into a foam board airplane as well.

I know nothing!

It's not big, but if ya'll are itching for a new biplane (I was) I'm working on a Mini Scout Bipe. I'm currently on Prototype Number Two, but you can see a pic and video of the maiden of Prototype Number One over here.

If the second prototype is a success, I'll be releasing the plans for it soon.

*Edit* I almost forgot the Baby Blender Extended! It's about the size of the Simple Scout and it flies really well. Pics, vid and links to the plans are over here.
And a big +1 for more WWI warbirds! They're just so cool! *Edit*

I would love to see alot of you use your imagination and create something new. there is alot of talent on this site. so put on your thinking cap.
be unique. I was saving this for my self to try. so here is my idea i would love to modify either the mustang or the corsair and put an EDF on the front and make a wind tunnel trough the fuselage and come out the rear would it be cool . just an idea
