I'm using a quarter wave lambda antenna on my 900Mhz TX and the junky stock dipole antenna on the RX. I'm looking into different types of antennas for receivers, so I figured I'd ask: What's your favorite type? Looking for good signal strength, directional antennas are okay too. I fly mostly in one area in front of myself.
I believe it is generally accepted that circular polarized (cp) antennas are best for omnidirectional use. I haven't built mine yet, but I'm gathering the parts. I just got the SMA crimp connectors.
