I have start making a price list and my first question raises what are the best motors for a quad below 25usd? or are all motors below 25$ crap?

for esc I would like to go for turnigy plush (I read that that were of the best on the market?)

Well, the DT750's are very much recommended for RCExplorer type tricopters, I don't see the difference with performance in a quad - around $11 each. They have low Kv (750kv) and high torque.

And yes, the Turnigy Plush are very reputable.

they look thin but that doesn't matter?
and is 750kv not to low?

Well, if you check out the specialized motors for multicopters on HobbyKing here:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__503__501__Multi_Rotors_Parts-Motors.html

you'll see that they have even less kv. They are even slower. That, according to RCExplorer, allows them to change RPM much faster, and they'll be more stable. If I my calculations are correct (someone correct me if I'm wrong) then lower Kv will need a higher pitched prop (slow-fly prop) and that will make the yaw faster.

By thin I assume you mean flat - this is good because then they'll have higher torque. Torque is the force that makes it keep spinning even if you take off the power.
