i have a 2208 2600 kv motor with a 6x4 prop can I power it with a 50 amp esc and a 2200 25c 3 cell battery. I was going to get new stuff for my jet but found this stuff. thanks!

If you want to see how the battery swells, feel free to connect everything. You will have an experiment: the battery will become very thick or the battery will burst beautifully))). 25C - These batteries are mainly for transmitters or low-current low-current models.

thanks. do not like bursting batteries. what if i used a 30 amp esc? I have one of them.
The battery & ESC will be fine. But that might be too much prop for the motor on 3S.

as you can tell I am very new to this hobby. what prop would I use
The 6x4 is worth a test. Run the motor at full speed for 10 seconds or so. Then stop & take the temperature of the motor, esc & battery by touching them. Warm is OK but if anything is hot enough that you don't want to hang on to them, STOP, the prop is too large, try a 5 inch prop. If it passes, try an 30 second run & check the temps. If it passes try a 60 second run. If it passes, it's time to fly. It's always a good practice to check the temps after a flight. Keep in mind that what worked when it is mild outside, 70's, may over heat when it get's hot outside, 95+.
