Well, The Bee flew again today. Just as nice of a flier as I remember. And the Bugatti did as well. Check out the thread link in my signature. I'll post up details later of both flights.
That just proves them planes were more drug thru the air then flown. They always amazed me they even flew at all being so stubby looking.
Seeing them fly is like seeing a short fat guy on a basketball court whoopin up on the tall guys. Still on the list of favorites (not that anything that flies is not already there anyways but at the upper part of that list)
All these beautiful shots of the Gee Bee are making me think about some changes to the build project list... maybe a DTFB Gee Bee for my next scratch design using some of these round fuselage techniques from the build-off contest...
Thanks for the tip! That talented madman puts out so many planes / plans / reviews I'd be shocked if a couple didn't hit the floor in the chaos purely by accident (and I say this with all love and respect for the north american bearded madman )
