Wind causes WLToys glider to go crazy

I was flying my WLToys f959 sky king glide in the field behind my house. It went well for about 5 minutes, when suddenly a gust of wind came out of nowhere. It was dead calm before this. It caught the glider in mid-turn and carried the glider for 200 yards. I had no rudder control at all. I just turned off the power and let the wind take it. It was really bizarre.

Oh damn... I was out flying my WLToys F949 (Cessna 182) Sunday with pretty fast winds. It was almost impossible to go head into the wind, but the other way it was faster than ever ;)
It was a pretty scary flight, and I managed to land it in my neighbors tree
