Help! windsurfer antennaes

Hey guys, i've been reading about these windsurfer reflector antennae mods and DIY.
does it really help? how much more range can you get?
And can i build one myself for my futaba t6k transmitter?

With the Futaba t6k you definitely don't need extended range for normal los flying. They're good for about 3-4km.

Yes you can homebrew one, and expect some range increase. It isn't exactly rocket science, it just increases directivity and associated gain but it is hard to do correctly and takes accurate math to do it right. Yagi work better, but unless your fpv equipment has further range, it's kinda pointless
