Wing area

Hi everyone just seeing if any one know what the wing area should be for an rc trainer that weigh about half a pound

Look at the Specs for the FT Storch, FT Simple Cub and the FT Tiny trainer. That should give you a ball park figure to work with. But note the wing profile has a great bearing on the actual lift generated!

Something here to look at. I'd aim for something like 36" wingspan and 6" to 7" chord width.

I find that a wing area that is equal to 10-12 oz/sq ft is a good place to start.
