Wing deformation in flight

Saw this article on a new type of wing MIT and NASA are pioneering. Would be fun to see you guys design a plan with a wing needing no ailerons (and no dihedral) with some sort of wing deforming to control roll. Wing shape can drastically affect lift, right? what's an aileron but a "lift adjuster"?

I haven't seen an RC plane where the wings warp or deform to control the plane, but I do know of one where the entire wings pitch to provide control.

As far as full scale history, there is at least one tandem wing plane where the entire front wing pitches as one unit. It would definitely be cool to see FT's take on this concept.

Just about any foamy has wing warping other wise we would not have to trim the plane at all.
