At a recent garage sale, apart from 4 very cheap RC planes I picked up for FREE a BAE Hawk wing. I figured I'd try and build something using it and a spare Lidl cheap foamie fuselage I had kicking around. Plus a big salvaged drone motor and 7 inch prop. A pusher with twin booms. The maiden did not go well!
I suspect some viewers will say CG, though by my calculations it was spot on, and the glide when I chucked it was good. My theory was incidence of the tailplane? I almost got it under control last flight, but I've given up on it and I'm turning it into a conventional tractor design. Watch this space. After more than 20 or 30 builds probably my worst ever maiden!
