Help! Would a rc helicopter board work in a glider?

Honestly i dont know where to post this.

Ive recently took apart an old rc helicopter ( mh-35 spektrum helicopter) from my couisn, and found this board inside it. After doing some digging i found it to be this board I noticed it looked a bit similar to one of those boards from the hobbyzome champ, and i have a couple questions regarding this.
1: would this radio work with the board?
2: could i use the board to make a small rc glider? or would it being a helicopter board have some strange gyro effects of the plane making it hard to or impossible to use

The orange transmitter is compatible with Spectrum receivers, it should work. I don't believe there is any gyro in that receiver, it looks like the stability came from a fly bar. I have taken similar boards from a helicopter to a plane. I've never done it with that board. I think it will work.

It can work but depends on the control interface. Some heli board slow down the servo response so you don't flip one into the weeds. Worth a try but i'd do the setup on a table and see how the servos react to the inputs.
