Hi. I am an amateur 3d-modeller with visions of making games.
I am bad at finishing projects, but I have made a model for an airplane for a steampunk/fantasy flight sim I want to create. (It will probably never happen, but the full design and story of the game is in my head.)
The thing would have vectored propellers up and down for crazy manouvers including rolls, and differential thrust to the sides.
Question is, would it fly?
Would it even be possible to make an RC model of it from Foam board and test it? Is the thrust vectoring and differential thrust viable for this design?
In the end, if I make the game, the answer to these questions aren't important, it's Steampunk Fantasy so the rule of cool trumps realistic physics.
But I can't help but wonder.
And if you feel like making an actual RC model with Flight test episodes for this design, feel free.
