Quick newbie question. Can these be used to connect a xt60 30a ESC to a battery with a xt30 connector? ....
It can be done, just beware the XT30 is only rated for 30 amps. AND be sure not to exceed the amp draw your battery is capable of giving. Use the formula MAH / 1000 x C to calculate the maximum amp draw. Example: a 800 mah 25 c battery can safely supply 20 amps (800/1000x25=20). Some batteries have 2 C ratings, a burst an continuous, use the lower rating. The burst is only for a few seconds, maybe 10-20.

Excellent reply. Thanks for the info and example given. Makes it much easier.

I've been using the Tattu 11.1v 3s 850mah 75c Lipo in all my mini planes with the 20a ESC. Never ran them at full throttle continuously though. No issues yet. Just wanted to make sure I could use the converter for the different connector sizes.
