Yet Another Inexpensive Used Glow Plane!!!

As luck would have it, I have found another inexpensive glow powered plane. This time it's Funtana S .40 with an OS .90 on the nose. It came without receiver and batter pack, but had a full set of Futaba S9001 servos. There's one rib that needs some repair, and it had a bad servo extension, but outside of that, it's in excellent condition. Hopefully I'll get to fly it this weekend. It looks like it should be a good flying plane. Since Hangar 9 recommends a .72 size four stroke as the max, I was a little leery of the .90 on the nose, but a good friend said he had one with a .90 and it was an excellent plane. I picked up this plane for $75, definitely worth the price of admission.

Funtanas are good fun! I would hit that with an electric conversion in a heartbeat. Have fun!

Oddly enough I have a 50 size brushless motor and 60A ESC, but I like the sounds and smell of glow too much to convert this one. Maybe if it's a total pig with the .90 on the nose, but I don't think that will be the case.

That seems to be a great combo - H9 Funtana and a big 4 stroke. You will fly "for ever" without any problems.
