Thank you!

Is it possible for Flitetest Community to update the Membership page to accept PayPal to pay the membership fees. With all the hacking going on, pretty much everywhere, many people are hesitant to put in their credit card numbers on websites. Anyway, it would make it easier.

If the FTCA wanted to really rock the establishment and become an authoritative voice for the hobby/sport and its membership I have something that they could do which would bring them to the attention of the powers at be, (in a positive way), in a very short time.

FT has a great deal of experience and design flair. What they are missing is any form of authority or proof of professional intent or accreditation. It would be nice if the FTCA looked towards forming an educational academy which undertakes research and gathers all tips and discoveries in relation to both the plane designs but also in the applicable radio and electronic technologies.

Any FTCA Academy could provide a form of online course/instruction as well as a certification program for FTCA members subject to additional fees of course. FTCA Academy graduates could then have a traceable source for their knowledge which is recognised by both FT and demonstrate a level of professionalism to the FCC and other authorities. Any FTCA graduates would be required to keep up with current tech and renew their accreditation annually.

I am sure given the number of persons who visit the FT forum that I am not the only trained professional who finds the hobby/sport to be full of myths and misinformation that directly effects the safety and hence the public view of the hobby/sport. Personally I would gladly contribute the little I know and have tested to any FTCAA for further testing and verification if required.

Keep it real and safe!

Have fun!

Hi Everyone,

I have signed up to be an Aircrew member yesterday (07/02). But I have a question for the folks that have signed up. How long did it take for Flite Test to get back to you with an email after you signed up and paid your dues ? I looked at my credit card statement and it shows the transaction is pending. I'm just curious.

Thanks for any help,
Al

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your relay. I probably should send FTCA an email and tell them what happened on my end. Now I just need an email address. :)

I saw where Addicted had a link for help. I gave it a try, now wait for the weekend to pass before I get a relay.

Alan, are you saying when you joined you didn't enter an email address?
